August 21st, 2008many of the initial website glitches and bugs have been squashed and fixed. brainstorming & discussions have started, and the excitement is growing about the first ever “unconference” dedicated to LGBT issues, awareness, community building, etc.
follow the creation of a movement by following queercamp…

Isn’t the idea behind barcamps, et al not to plan much. How about simply name some broad arenas that people might want to discuss. Maybe, Health, politics, social issues, the arts.

@gale excellent point! i definitely agree with the whole non-planning thing. however that is hard to explain to people who’ve never heard of a “barcamp.” i like your wording about the “broad arenas” of discussion. thanks so much for chiming in!
